We partner with organizations to build custom accelerators, where startups deliver solutions to solve our partner’s most pressing needs. We work with the ventures to drive growth and better position themselves in the marketplace.

Forge

NSIN Forge is a National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) program that partners with FedTech to bring deep tech government inventions to established ventures. Forge identifies Department of Defense (DoD) technologies available for commercialization and matches them with startup companies to participate in the cohort.

KIC-FedTech Accelerator

The KIC-FedTech Accelerator, sponsored by the Korean Innovation Center, Washington, DC works to offer Korean technology companies the necessary capabilities to launch their product in the US market.

TABA Program

Is your small business applying for an SBIR/STTR grant and needs additional commercialization support through the process? The TABA (Technical and Business Assistance) Program allows an additional supplement to the award ($6,500 for Phase 1 awards and $50,000 for Phase 2 awards) and is aimed at improving the commercialization success of awardees.

xTechGlobal AI Challenge Accelerator

The xTechGlobal AI Challenge Accelerator supports international artificial intelligence (AI) companies in their efforts to transition their technologies to the DoD. As the first international tri-service competition (US Army, US Air Force and US Navy), the mission is to evaluate and support world-class AI/Machine learning algorithms and software tools to enable data analytics capabilities in resource-constrained environments.

DredgeTech Accelerator

The DredgeTech Accelerator is supporting the Bureau of Reclamation's Guardians of the Reservoir Challenge to help transition innovative dredging technologies for use in reservoir sedimentation removal. The cohort consists of five technologies from the United States, Germany, Switzerland and Australia, that presented novel solutions to reducing sediment buildup. The DredgeTech Accelerator is providing educational programming, mentorship, and 1:1 consulting to help each solver scale and integrate accordingly.

xTechHBCU Accelerator

The xTechHBCU Accelerator is supporting the finalists of the xTechHBCU program in their efforts to attract Army research funding. The mission of xTechHBCU is to provide a structured and focused entry path for eligible participants to submit novel concepts and technology solutions directly to the U.S. Army and provide opportunities for these participants to become integrated into the Army’s science and technology (S&T) ecosystem by providing research opportunities with Army labs.

Northrop Grumman, a global leader in aerospace and defense, is collaborating with FedTech to run an accelerator focused on breakthrough aeronautics and manufacturing technology.

BAE Systems 2022 Technology Accelerator

BAE Systems has partnered with FedTech to develop and execute the first BAE Systems Technology Accelerator: a 3-month program that will pair deep tech startups with BAE Systems research teams via a cohort-based accelerator program. The program ultimately seeks to deliver game-changing breakthroughs at speed and scale to BAE Systems’ customers.

The xTech Accelerator helps xTechSearch finalists achieve success via mentorship, educational programming, venture building activities, and strategic exposure: to ultimately transition their technologies into the Army and thrive as small businesses. xTech Innovation Combine:
Advanced Energy Storage

The xTech Innovation Combine: Advanced Energy Storage is a U.S. Army prize competition that seeks innovative solutions to scalable power and energy solutions, and novel materials for weight reduction and survivability. As part of the prize competition, the six finalists gained access to the xTech Energy Accelerator, powered by FedTech. The xTech Energy Accelerator supports finalists in transitioning their technologies to the Army.

xTechSBIR Waveform Challenge

PEO C3T (Command, Control, & Communications) ran a prize competition for small businesses to enhance waveform capabilities by easily developing and integrating new waveforms onto software-defined radios through an open architecture. FedTech was tasked with creating an immersion event for competition winners, primes, and the PEO itself to engage with one another on a public stage.

Innovation Crossroads

Oak Ridge National Laboratory Innovation Crossroads helps entrepreneurs create the next generation of clean energy companies. FedTech provides accelerator programming to the breakthrough energy and hard tech companies in the Innovation Crossroads program. This includes one on one mentoring, an entrepreneurial training curriculum, and pitch days.

Air Pressure

Innovation Combine Cohort

The Innovation Combine Cohort accelerates the development of all companies that participated in the AFC Innovation Combine. The mission of this cohort is to help them by providing actionable frameworks for engaging the Army, access to FedTech's dual-use technology expert network, and guidance from FedTech experts on how to best pursue dual-use technology development. The 2020 Innovation Combine Cohort, powered by FedTech, takes place in Fall 2020.
