About the Program

Crucible Ignitor, led by the Inland Empire Tech Bridge and powered by FedTech, is a no-cost, no-equity program that pairs entrepreneurs with university and federal lab-developed technology and the inventors who created it. Together, they test whether that technology can become a company built for the defense market.

Now in its fourth year, Crucible Ignitor has helped launch 35 new ventures serving both government and commercial needs. Entrepreneurs work directly with inventors, tech transfer professionals, and advisors to explore viable use cases, refine business models, and pursue transition opportunities.
