About Accelerate ALX
Join us for the 2026 Accelerate ALX Showcase to meet the Alexandria tech founders shaping innovation in the region. On December 9th, 10 Alexandria tech startups in defense, aerospace, energy, AI, health tech, and cybersecurity will showcase the progress they've made throughout the Accelerate ALX startup accelerator program.
Accelerate ALX is Alexandria's tech startup accelerator for local founders operating in high-growth sectors. The program is designed to provide Alexandria founders with the 1:1 mentorship, expert-led commercialization support, and warm introductions they need to scale.
The showcase brings together the founders, investors, commercial partners, and leading industry, academic, and government organizations building the region's tech innovation ecosystem. You will get to meet a vetted group of companies early, get a direct look at applied technology in their fields, and a voice in how Alexandria's innovation ecosystem grows.
Alexandria sits inside one of the country's densest technology and defense corridors and is becoming one of Northern Virginia's hubs for technology innovation. Home to Virginia Tech's Institute for Advanced Computing and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Alexandria is part of the new National Innovation Quarter in National Landing.
Accelerate ALX is an Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) Program, primarily funded by the City of Alexandria, and powered by FedTech.
