Three Days You Can Go Deep on Deep Tech

The first part of December will be an exciting one at FedTech, with three massive events on the schedule. Designed to give you a first-hand look at some of the leaders in the space, these events will provide you with a view into new technologies that will shape the way we live our lives. And introduce you to entrepreneurs who have launched their moonshots with their ventures and will more than likely become the problem solvers of tomorrow.


These are the events you'll want to mark on your calendar:




Dec 1: Fireside with FedTech: Lee Feldman, Senior Strategist at M12, Microsoft's Venture Fund


For December, our next edition of Fireside will feature Jake Kramer, Managing Partner at

FedeTech, as host and will headline a conversation with Lee Feldman, senior strategist for M12 based out of the greater Seattle area.

Lee is responsible for technology trend analysis, thesis development, and opportunity analysis influencing investment activities. He also conducts market and technical diligence for deals in focus areas, including National Security technology, brain-computer interface (BCI), cybersecurity, data and AI, IoT, and enterprise IT.


Lee joined M12 from Microsoft's corporate strategy team, where he advised Microsoft senior leadership on topics related to the business health and growth of the company. He also led strategic projects and customer engagement programs for Microsoft's executive vice president of corporate strategy and core services engineering and operations.


This promises to be an exciting conversation where you can expect to hear how entrepreneurs can engage with corporations and insights on dual-use technologies.





Dec 2: Homeland Security Startup Studio 2022 Launch Event


It's all system go for this exciting launch for the Homeland Security Startup Studio 2022. You'll dive deeper and learn more about our upcoming cohort and the Federal innovation ecosystem. The event includes a panel of experts, entrepreneurs from the HSSS21 cohort, and a live Q&A with DHS and FedTech to discuss the program.

The extraordinary group of panelists will include thought leaders like Carol Politi, President, and CEO of TRX Systems, and Patrick Kilbride, Senior Vice President of the Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC), U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Then you'll hear from alumni of the '21 cohort whose founders will walk you through their entrepreneurial journey.

Dec 9: FedTech Frontier Venture Summit


We are honored to host U.S. Representative Don Beyer from Virginia's 8th District as the keynote speaker for the Frontier Venture Summit. You'll have the opportunity to gain insight into what a national leader sees on the horizon, including the future of innovation, and how entrepreneurial opportunities and avenues for economic growth abound in the deep tech space.


You'll also discover teams of entrepreneurs and technologists as they pitch their ventures to a panel of experts.
